Kevin Portanova

Kevin grew up in Orlando, FL and attended the University of Central Florida where he received both a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Management Information Systems. He has "two grown and wonderful children and a beautiful and supportive wife."

Kevin comes to us from the Real Estate Assessment Center, in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he served as both IT Director and Deputy Director. He managed a division of over 40 federal staff with dedicated security specialists, policy and planning specialists, staff that manage and monitor several contracts and contractors, and a software development team that all utilize Agile software development methodologies. Prior to HUD, he worked for the Navy as a civilian for over twelve years doing software and application development, network admin and engineering, and supervising development and networking branches.
