Kristen Omori
Research Fishery Biologist
Kristen Omori completed her Ph.D. (2021) and M.S. (2015) degrees in Marine Science with an emphasis in quantitative fisheries from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, College of William & Mary. Her dissertation focused on evaluating species assignment for stock complexes using statistical methods and examining data-limited assessment models with a focus on non-target rockfish species in the Gulf of Alaska. In 2022, Kristen joined the Alaska Fisheries Science Center in the Marine Ecology & Stock Assessment program at the Auke Bay Laboratories.
