Michaela graduated from Smith College in 2022 with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Marine Science & Policy. During her time there she was a T.A. and a co-teacher for her professor's Marine Ecology course and Coral Reef seminar. She also spent the summers working on various invertebrate behavior experiments, both in the field and in the lab. She worked as an At-Sea Monitor out of Gloucester for the past year. While she very much enjoyed observing, she is excited to be starting as a new trainer! In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors by hiking and hunting for crabs on rocky beaches.
