Rebecca White
Rebecca earned an art degree from Wisconsin where she embraced the digital art revolution by taking the first computer science class offered to art majors. Her design career spans newspaper, corporate communications, marketing, and advertising. She began her Federal career at the Government Publishing Office where she worked on high-end communication products for many Federal Agencies.
She joined the AFSC in 2010 and helped reshape the Communications program. In addition to her design support role, she is prolific at creating resources for all staff. In 2018 she campaigned to refresh the Fisheries branding at the national level resulting in a comprehensive brand standards manual and a wide-ranging toolkit with valuable templates and components for all communicators within Fisheries. Rebecca continues to champion new design approaches such as infographics and Story Maps for the benefit of the Center.
