Susan Meyer

Susan started with NOAA in 2004 as an Administrative Assistant for the Restricted Access Management Office. In 2007 she was promoted to RAM Permit Assistant, and in 2015 she joined Information Services Division (ISD) as an IT Specialist (Systems Administrator), where she was responsible for the maintenance of the Alaska Region's eDiscovery and document management software, ensuring end-users are well versed in the programs' functions and capabilities, as well providing support to the Alaska Region's IT Help Desk. Susan is now a Government Information Specialist where she is the Alaska Region’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Coordinator. She is responsible for researching, analyzing, and evaluating data for FOIA requests, as well as developing plans and procedures for implementing record management policies, regulations, and retention schedule.
