2025 North Pacific Albacore Stakeholder Webinar - April 25th, 2025

NMFS is planning to host a U.S. stakeholder webinar virtually on Friday, April 25, from 2pm to 5pm PST (11am-2pm HST). The intent of this meeting is to gather input from U.S. stakeholders on translating North Pacific albacore fishing intensity into catch and/or effort controls as it pertains to the harvest strategy in the IATTC and WCPFC. In addition, the meeting will include a discussion on exceptional circumstances as related to the North Pacific albacore Management Strategy Evaluation and an overview of optional electronic logbooks that will be available for the 2025 fishing season.

Please register for the meeting by April 18, 2025. Instructions for attending the meeting and a detailed agenda will be emailed to registered participants in advance.
