Information Meetings on the Marianas Trench Marine National Monument Draft Management Plan

NOAA Fisheries and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) are hosting four virtual meetings in June to provide community-focused opportunities for anyone interested in learning more about the draft management plan for the Marianas Trench Marine National Monument. NOAA Fisheries and U.S. FWS staff will be available to answer questions on the plan during these informational meetings. All four meetings will be held from 5:30 – 7 p.m. ChST. Participants can attend virtually or via phone.
NOAA Fisheries and U.S. FWS have extended the comment period for the draft management plan and corresponding environmental assessment for 60 calendar days, to close on July 26, 2021. Comments are being accepted online and by mail to: Superintendent, Marianas Trench Marine National Monument, P.O. Box 8134 MOU-3, Dededo, GU 96912.
