About

The Joint Management Committee (JMC) and Advisory Panel (AP) created under the Pacific Hake/Whiting Agreement between the Governments of the United States and Canada will meet in person and by webinar March 11-13, 2025. The meeting is open to the public and there will be opportunity for public comment.

The JMC will meet to review the advice by the Joint Technical Committee (JTC), Scientific Review Group (SRG), and AP, and recommend the 2025 total allowable catch (TAC) for the United States and Canada, including each party's individual TAC and identifying adjustments as needed.

The AP will meet to review the advice of the JTC and SRG, review management of the U.S. and Canada fisheries in 2024, and make recommendations to the JMC regarding the overall TAC for the 2025 fishing season.
