Kick off National Safe Boating Week by joining NOAA Fisheries at the 2023 POP Fishing and Marine Expo. Stop by our booth at this free event to learn about pono (doing what is right and proper) fishing practices and how to be a responsible fisherman. Additionally, our partners with the Hawaiʻi Department of Land and Natural Resources and the U.S. Coast Guard will have booths about ocean stewardship and boating and marine safety, respectively. The expo will also feature keiki activities (like an ice dig!), giveaways, product demonstrations, and fishing gear for purchase.
