NOAA Fisheries will hold a public hearing for the proposed rule to establish time-area closures for Hawaiian spinner dolphins under the Marine Mammal Protection Act on December 9, 2021 from 5 p.m.–8 p.m. HST.
The proposed rule to establish time-area closures for Hawaiian spinner dolphins was issued on September 28, 2021 (86 FR 53844) and provided for a public comment period to end on December 27, 2021. The public hearing will be held online, any member of the public can join by internet or phone.
