About
Presenter: Keith Kamikawa, Hawai‘i Fisheries Extension Agent
NOAA Fisheries, Pacific Islands Regional Office
Hawai‘i fisheries are as diverse as our communities. Whether you catch your fish yourself or it comes from the Honolulu Fish Auction, a roadside sale, or your neighbor, there’s no doubt that fishing is an integral part of our local culture. Fishing is fun, contributes a lot of information to science, and provides us with food! Join a conversation with Keith Kamikawa, Hawai‘i fisheries extension agent at NOAA Fisheries, about what makes our Hawai‘i fisheries so unique and what you can do to protect them for future generations.
This 45-minute event will be hosted on WebEx and will include interactive elements and a chance to ask questions in real time through a moderator.
