NOAA Fisheries will hold a meeting of the Permanent Advisory Committee (PAC) on May 13, 2024, to advise the U.S. Commissioners to the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission. This meeting is open to the public and will be conducted via web conference.

- 2024 U.S. Objectives for the 21st Regular Session of the Commission
- 2024 WCPFC Subsidiary Body Meetings
- Joint Working Group (JWG9)/20th Regular session of the Northern Committee Meeting (NC20) [Hokkaido, Japan, July 10-13, 15-16, 2024]
- 20th Regular Session of the Scientific Committee (SC20) [Manila, Philippines,August 14-21, 2024]
- 20th Regular Session of the Technical and Compliance Committee (TCC20) [Pohnpei, FSM, September 25-October 1, 2024]
Members of the public may submit written comments on meeting topics or materials in advance of the meeting. Comments must be received by May 6, 2024. Meeting documents will be emailed in advance of the conference call.

What is the Permanent Advisory Committee?
The PAC is composed of individuals from groups concerned with the fisheries covered by the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Convention. It provides recommendations to the U.S. Commissioners to the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission on the deliberations and decisions of the Commission. This advisory committee was established under the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Convention Implementation Act (16 U.S.C. 6901 et seq.).
