Webinar: Understanding Integrated Ecosystem Assessments
Learn about Gulf of Maine IEA Linking Environment, Fisheries, and Offshore Wind Energy Development
About
NOAA Fisheries, Responsible Offshore Development Alliance, and the University of Rhode Island are working toward an Integrated Ecosystem Assessment (IEA) that will examine interactions among the environment, fisheries production, and offshore wind energy development in the Gulf of Maine, and associated management implications.
This is the first attempt at an IEA for fisheries and OWE. These webinars are a great opportunity for those who want to know more and to talk with people who will be working on the project and other experts working in relevant fields. The second step will be workshops throughout the region to gather information directly from fishermen.
The webinars are open to the public. Each webinar will contain the same information, but we've scheduled several dates and times to accommodate as many attendees as possible. To ensure we're prepared for the number of attendees at each webinar, we are asking you to register ahead of time if you are interested.

If you are interested and can't make one of the webinars, visit Responsible Offshore Development Alliance's IEA project page to access recordings after the meetings.
