This document serves as an interim guidance document to direct recovery efforts for pillar coral, rough cactus coral, lobed star coral, mountainous star coral, and boulder star coral.
NOAA Fisheries has developed a recovery outline to serve as an interim guidance document to direct recovery efforts, including recovery planning, for pillar coral, rough cactus coral, lobed star coral, mountainous star coral, and boulder star coral until a full recovery plan is developed and approved. The recovery outline presents a preliminary strategy for recovery of these species and recommends high priority actions to stabilize and recover these corals.
