Recovering Threatened and Endangered Species Report to Congress (FY 2021-2022)

This Report to Congress summarizes efforts to recover all transnational and domestic species under NOAA Fisheries’ jurisdiction from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2022.
The report includes a summary table outlining the status and trend of each species that the Secretary of Commerce found would benefit from having a recovery plan, the recovery priority number, the status of the recovery plan, and the completion or initiation date for the last 5-year review. The report also highlights progress made on recovery efforts for the species identified in the Species in the Spotlight initiative launched in 2015.
