U.S. Pacific Marine Mammal Stock Assessments - 1998

This report presents an update of information presented in the previous stock assessment reports for the Pacific Region (Barlow et al. 1997), including the U.S. EEZ waters adjacent to Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii. Marine mammal stocks in this region include those studied by the Southwest Fisheries Science Center (La Jolla, California) and the National Marine Mammal Laboratory (Seattle, Washington) and individual reports were revised separately by personnel at those two NMFS laboratories. A summary of the revised reports is given in Appendix 1.
