In March of 2011, the Northeast Fisheries Science Center conducted an independent peer review of modeling approaches in support of Ecosystem-Based Fishery Management on the Northeast U.S. Continental Shelf. The review took place in Woods Hole under the auspices of the Center for Independent Experts. The review evaluated the appropriateness and performance characteristics of community-level and ecosystem models under consideration by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center.
