$4.3 Million Will Support Habitat Restoration in Coastal Louisiana

Funding has been approved for the NOAA-sponsored South Delacroix Marsh Creation Project through the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection, and Restoration Act Program. The project will restore more than 400 acres of marsh in Plaquemines Parish.

Cameron Meadows Project to Rebuild Hundreds of Acres of Marsh in Louisiana

An additional $1.2 million in funding will support an effort underway to rebuild more than 300 acres of marsh habitat and help protect local communities from storms and flooding.
