Amendment 21 to the Coastal Pelagic Species Fishery Management Plan

NOAA Fisheries implemented Amendment 21 to the Coastal Pelagic Species (CPS) Fishery Management Plan (FMP) (89 FR 46035, May 28, 2024) to implement a number of non-substantive changes, including defining acronyms, adding hyperlinks, removing repetitive language, and rearranging sections for clarity and logical sequence. This amendment is colloquially referred to as the "housekeeping" amendment. Because this action does not change the manner in which CPS stocks are managed, it is considered administrative in nature.
