Summary

NOAA Fisheries has received a request from the United States Department of the Navy for authorization to take marine mammals incidental to replacement and maintenance of the Ammunition Wharf marine structure at Naval Magazine Indian Island in Puget Sound, Washington, over the course of five years. NOAA Fisheries is announcing receipt of the Navy’s request for the development and implementation of regulations governing the incidental taking of marine mammals.
