Incidental Take Authorization: Washington DOT Coupeville Timber Towers Preservation Project
Summary
In accordance with regulations implementing the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) as amended, notification is hereby given that NOAA Fisheries has issued an Incidental Harassment Authorization (IHA) to the Washington State Department of Transportation to take, by harassment, small numbers of 10 species of marine mammals incidental to construction activities for the Coupeville Timber Tower Preservation Project in Washington State, between July 15, 2016, and July 14, 2017.
