Age and Growth Validation and Corroboration

Fisheries Length & Frequency Graphic

Besides radiometric and bomb carbon validation there are other methods of supporting otolith growth interpretation. These methods include marginal increment analysis (MIA), tracking fish year classes, mark and recapture, and known age fish.
