NOAA Fisheries published the 2025 cost recovery fee percentages in the Federal Register on December 16, 2024 (89 FR 101568). This notice sets the fee percentages and Mothership (MS) pricing to be used when paying 2025 cost recovery fees.
For calendar year 2025, NOAA Fisheries announces the following fee percentages by sector:
- 3.0 percent for the Shorebased Individual Fishing Quota Program,
- 0.1 percent for the Catcher/Processor (C/P) Program, and
- 3.0 percent for the MS Program.
For 2025, the MS pricing to be used as a proxy by the C/P Program is:
- $0.09/pound for Pacific whiting.
