Inseason action for non-tribal commercial salmon fisheries from the U.S./Canada border to Cape Falcon, 2023

NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the 2023 non-tribal commercial salmon fisheries from the U.S./Canada border to Cape Falcon. 

  • Inseason action #7: Effective Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. through June 29, 2023, at 11:59 p.m., for the commercial salmon troll fishery in the area between Leadbetter Point and Cape Falcon (Columbia River subarea), landing and possession limit of 100 Chinook salmon per vessel per landing week (Thursday-Wednesday) June 8-June 21 and for the period June 22-29.
  • Inseason action #8: Effective Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. through June 29, 2023, at 11:59 p.m., for the commercial salmon troll fishery in the area between the Queets River and Leadbetter Point (Westport subarea), landing and possession limit of 250 Chinook salmon per vessel per landing week (Thursday-Wednesday) June 8 - June 21 and for the period June 22-29.
  • Inseason action #9: Effective Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. through June 29, 2023, at 11:59 p.m., for the commercial salmon troll fishery in the area between the Queets River and the U.S./Canada border (La Push and Neah Bay subareas), landing and possession limit of 40 Chinook salmon per vessel per landing week (Thursday-Wednesday) June 9 - June 21 and for the period June 22-29.
  • Inseason action #10: Effective Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. through June 29, 2023, at 11:59 p.m., for the commercial salmon troll fishery in the Area between the U.S./Canada border and Cape Falcon, landing and possession limit of 250 Chinook salmon per vessel per landing week (Thursday-Wednesday) June 8 - June 21 and for the period June 22-29.
