Henry Fleener is the hatchery manager at the Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute Mariculture Wet Lab. Henry received a B.S in Fisheries and Wildlife Science and attended graduate school at Oregon State University where he worked with the USDA-ARS Pacific Oyster Genomic Selection (POGS) project to advance hatchery production technology. Henry's research includes optimizing hatchery production and breeding of Pacific oysters for Alaska. Henry's role at AFSC includes working closely with private and public research groups and the Alaska mariculture industry to enhance mariculture production.
