Kelley received a BS in Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and is earning her PhD in Oceanography from Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Kelley started working at the NOAA Narragansett Laboratory in 2023 where she conducts oceanographic research to assess the impact of offshore wind development on marine wildlife, primarily protected species such as baleen whales.
