Primary goals of this meeting are to introduce eight new MAFAC members to Committee and NMFS leadership and to receive an in depth report on the activities and progress of the Columbia Basin Partnership Task Force to date from Task Force members and the West Coast Regional Administrator. There will be discussion and updates on other topics noted below:
MEETING ACTIONS AND OUTCOMES
Decisions will be made on the following:
- Date extension on the Terms of Reference for the Columbia Basin Partnership Task Force
- Engagement of the Aquaculture Task Force members for expertise on science and research needs
Discussion and Potential New Topics:
- Building consumer confidence and support for U.S. seafood

- Legislative, administrative, budget and transition updates
- Recreational Fisheries Summit outcomes
- Response to Resilience Report recommendations
