Primary goals of this meeting are to discuss and finalize recommendations of the Columbia Basin Partnership Task Force and their Phase 2 report and discuss and finalize a report and recommendations of the Recreational Fisheries Subcommittee regarding better defining the universe of offshore recreational anglers. MAFAC members will receive updates on the Aquaculture Office and a new Economic Development Task Force of the Interagency Subcommittee on Aquaculture, COVID-19 impacts on marine communities and agency operations, and the Executive Order Promoting American Seafood Competitiveness and Economic Growth, and a briefing on marine heatwaves. MAFAC subcommittees will be convened to conduct work as needed.
