Annual Report for the Fishing Effort Survey
This report describes the agency's survey of marine recreational fishing trips during the year specified.
The Marine Recreational Information Program administers the Fishing Effort Survey: a mail survey of households in Hawaii and along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts that measures the number of fishing trips saltwater anglers take. This annual report provides an overview of the Fishing Effort Survey's design, data collection schedule, and sampling and weighting methodologies, as well as its response rates.
