Both Dr. Baird and Dr. Au are long-term cetacean researchers, and as such, we have previously conducted consultation on previous research permits for both applicants. Dr. Baird has previously held Permit Nos. 0731-1509 (1999-2005), 731-1774 (2005-2011), and 15330 (2010- 2017) and Dr. Au has previously held permit Nos. 1000-1617 (2001-2010), and 14682 (2010- 2016). Permit Nos. 20605 and 20043 are renewal of Dr. Baird and Dr. Au’s previous research permits, respectively.
