Fisheries Release Mortality: Identifying, Prioritizing, and Resolving Data Gaps

This report describes research projects addressing release mortality that were funded by NOAA Fisheries from 1999 to 2013. This report focuses on various approaches to incorporating release mortality assumptions into stock assessments, as well as techniques that have been used in the Northeast and the West Coast to develop revised release mortality estimates.
