Southeast Otter Trawl and Reef Fish Fisheries Observer Materials

The manual contains program background, procedures, and protocols on how to collect a wide variety of information pertaining to the characterization of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and Southeast Atlantic Otter Trawl and Bottom Reef Fish Fisheries. It provides program overviews, guidelines and safety, observer expectations, and data collection procedures for both target species as well as bycatch, including protected species.
