We conducted a climate vulnerability assessment on 71 species of commercially, recreationally, or ecologically important fish and invertebrate species found in riverine, estuarine, nearshore, and offshore waters of the southeast U.S. Atlantic coast.
In 2023, NOAA Fisheries’ Alaska Fisheries Science Center conducted two surveys within U.S. territorial waters of the Bering Sea: the southeastern Bering Sea shelf bottom trawl survey and the northern Bering Sea bottom trawl survey.
We explored the use of supervised machine learning analysis in a partially observed fishery to identify potentially illicit behaviors when vessels did not have observers on board.
