NOAA Fisheries has revised the at-sea monitoring coverage target to 80 percent of all groundfish sector trips for the rest of 2022 fishing year. This is a decrease from the 99-percent coverage target implemented on May 1, 2022.
We approved Framework Adjustment 63 to the Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan and are announcing final quotas for fishing year 2022, effective July 15, 2022. This action also approves and implements recreational measures for Georges Bank cod.
