Notice of Receipt of a Petition from Oceana Seeking a Regulatory Program for Fisheries Observer Coverage of Bycatch
NOAA's decision on a petition for rulemaking under the Administrative Procedure Act. Oceana, petitioned the U.S. Department of Commerce to promulgate immediately a rule to establish a program to count, cap, and control bycatch in the US fisheries.

Amendment 60 to the FMP for the Groundfish of the Gulf of Alaska Management Area
NOAA Fisheries proposes regulations to implement Amendment 60 to the Fishery Management Plan for Groundfish of the Gulf of Alaska Area. This action would prohibit the use of non-pelagic trawl gear in Cook Inlet.
