Alaska Fisheries Science Center launched an internal photo and video contest this year with astounding results. We created a contest that would show how our staff go to amazing places and have incredible experiences while working at NOAA. This photo and video contest shows our mission in ways words cannot. 

John Moran, NOAA research fisheries biologist, won Best in Show for his photo “Breaching Whale.”
