NOAA Fisheries announces final 2022 specifications and trip limit adjustment for the Atlantic spiny dogfish fishery, effective May 1, 2022

NOAA Fisheries announces 2022 specifications for the Atlantic spiny dogfish fishery (see below), and a 25-percent increase to the commercial trip limit from 6,000 lb to 7,500 lb.

These 2022 specifications are unchanged from what were in place for the 2021 fishing year, and the increased trip limit is intended to allow more operational flexibility and better enable the fishery to achieve the full annual quota.
