Research Track Assessments evaluate new datasets that can either inform or be used in new or existing stock assessment models. Our goal is to improve the stock assessment for Northern shortfin squid that can be used for future Management Track Assessments.

Stakeholder Listening Session
As part of the Research Track for Illex, there was a virtual stakeholder listening session on July 13, 2021, from 1:00–3:00pm.
This session provided an overview of the assessment before opening up for stakeholder and industry input.
