June 2020 Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee Meeting

This is a virtual meeting. Details on how to access the meeting are at the top of each day's agenda, below.

At this meeting, MAFAC members plan to finalize recommendations related to seafood marketing and promotion to encourage increased U.S. seafood consumption and to expand on its concerns and recommendations regarding offshore wind development in the marine environment. MAFAC will receive briefings and updates on COVID-19 impacts on marine communities and agency operations, the new Executive Order Promoting American Seafood competitiveness and Economic Growth, and the Phase 2 work of its Columbia Basin Partnership Task Force which is addressing goals to restore salmon and steelhead throughout the Columbia Basin. MAFAC subcommittees  will be convened to conduct work as needed.
