NOAA internships are a great way for college students to explore potential career paths. Our summer interns work with NOAA experts for roughly 12 weeks during the summer. They contribute to NOAA’s mission, gain valuable experience, boost their resumes, and try out a potential science career.
The NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office teamed up with the Chesapeake Research Consortium to offer five Chesapeake-focused internships through two separate internship programs in summer 2024. These paid internships will ran from mid-May through mid-August. Applications were due by January 28, 2024.
Be sure to check out more NOAA Fisheries internships and other opportunities outside the Chesapeake Bay, too!
Chesapeake-Student Recruitment, Early Advisement, and Mentoring Program
Chesapeake-Student Recruitment, Early Advisement, and Mentoring is an internship program intended for students who identify as a member of underrepresented and underserved groups in science. These internships are for undergraduate students who will enter their sophomore, junior, or senior year of college this fall.
