Amendment 2 to the FMP for the Salmon Fisheries Off Alaska
The Acting Administrator, NOAA Fisheries, has initially approved Amendment 2 to the fishery management plan for the High Seas Salmon Fishery Off the Coast of Alaska. This amendment will contribute to the rebuilding of Chinook salmon stocks.

Implementation of the Fishery Management Plan for the Salmon Fisheries Off Alaska
On May 18, 1979, NOAA Fisheries published interim emergency regulations implementing the approved portion of the Fishery Management Plan for the Alaska Salmon Fishery. Due to an inadvertence, the plan was not published at that time.
