Acropora lokani is a species of coral found in marine, shallow reefs and sheltered lagoons in the Coral Triangle area (the Philippines to Timor Leste and east to the Solomon Islands). It occurs at depths between 26 and 82 feet.
Under the Endangered Species Act, NOAA Fisheries must list threatened and endangered marine species regardless of where they are found. Acropora lokani is listed as threatened throughout its range under the ESA.

Protected Status
Where They Live
Acropora lokani has been either confirmed or strongly predicted in 21 ecoregions from Malaysia to Fiji. The species occurs on reef slopes and lagoon patch reefs. It has been reported from 8 to 25 m of depth (Brainard et al. 2011.)
