This framework action would modify the greater amberjack recreational fixed-closed season and commercial trip limit to extend the fishing season durations, reduce the likelihood of exceeding the ACL, and eliminate harvest during the spawning period.
NMFS proposes Amendment 16 to the Fishery Management Plan for the Salmon Fisheries in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) Off Alaska (Salmon FMP) and associated implementing regulations.
