Summary: Dominion Chesterfield Power Station in Chester, VA is a coal-fueled power generating facility. Virginia Electric and Power Company, D.B.A. Dominion Virginia Power has been issued a permit for the incidental take of ESA-listed Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus oxyrinchus) from the Chesapeake Bay Distinct Population Segment. The takes would be attributed to otherwise lawful activities associated with the continued operation and maintenance of the facility including entrainment and impingement sampling required by the Clean Water Act. The permit is issued for a duration of 5 years.
Incidental Take Permit to Midwest Biodiversity Institute (MBI)
Summary: Midwest Biodiversity Institute (MBI) has been issued a permit for the incidental take of ESA-listed shortnose sturgeon (Acipenser brevirostrum), Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus oxyrinchus) and Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar). The takes would be attributed to otherwise lawful sampling of non-ESA listed fish in the Lower Kennebec River. The permit is issued for a duration of 10 years.
Incidental Take Permit to Barney Davis, LLC.
Summary: Barney Davis Energy Center, located in Corpus Christi, Texas, is a natural gas-fired electric power generating facility. Barney Davis, LLC., has been issued a permit for the incidental take of ESA-listed North Atlantic green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) and Kemp's ridley sea turtles (Lepidochelys kempii) associated with the otherwise lawful operation of the Barney Davis Energy Center. The facility monitors the intake canal in an effort to intercept sea turtles prior to contact with the facility's cooling water intake structure. The permit is issued for a duration of 10 years.

Eddystone has been issued a permit for the incidental take of ESA-listed shortnose sturgeon (Acipenser brevirostrum) and Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus oxyrinchus) associated with the otherwise lawful operation of the Eddystone Generating Station. The permit is issued for a duration of 10 years.

An Endangered Species Act Section 10(a)(1)(b) Incidental Take Permit is required for any "take" of an endangered or threatened species incidental to, and not the purpose of, an otherwise lawful activity.
